The vision of the ALWC Softball League was birthed
over 15 years ago by the senior pastor of ALWC, Pastor Joe Arminio. It was
to have a league that was different than most others. Organization, skill,
and competition were important, but equally as important was the ethics and
the morals of the league. This vision has come to pass over the years, and
we have begun our 13th season of ALWC softball. We look forward to playing
each Monday night in great, competitive games, but also look forward to
being in an environment where the whole family can come. It is a clean, safe
place that everyone is welcome at, and can be comfortable. We have seen the
league bring many players to Christ, and our first and foremost priority is
to be a light to the lost, a witness on and off the field, and to use the
game of softball as a bridge to build relationships, and to hopefully bring
many to the saving knowledge and power of Jesus Christ.
